Tokyo-based startup UnlimiTech has raised approximately ¥180 million ($1.2 million) in a seed funding round concluded in July 2026. The investment round was led by Genesia Ventures, SMBC Edge, and Delta X No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership.
Founded in March 2025, UnlimiTech develops “DataFlow AI,” an AI-driven workflow platform designed to streamline operations across the manufacturing sector. The platform addresses structural labor shortages and knowledge-transfer challenges in Japanese manufacturing by digitizing legacy manual processes, such as unstandardized Excel spreadsheets, and converting implicit worker expertise into structured digital assets.
Since launching the platform in January 2026, UnlimiTech has secured enterprise clients including Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Tokuyama Corporation, ENEOS Materials Corporation, and Sammy Corporation.
The company stated that the capital will be allocated toward two key areas:
Product Development: Enhancing automated workflow capabilities, expanding database features, and developing context tools to formalize expert decision-making rules, alongside advancing AI orchestration and integration with enterprise system software.
Talent Acquisition: Accelerating recruitment across software engineering, AI engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing.
